					<Message>Ms Alessandra Thuema has been involved in the teaching environment since she graduated in Education, majoring (BEd Hons in Economics and Accounting) in 1991. She has taught Accounting, Economics, Marketing and Business Studies from beginners up to Degree level in both the State and the private sector. She is also a paper setter and marker for the University of Malta.</Message>

					<Message>Dr Alfred Ellul has carried out research in Early Romantic aesthetic theory with specific reference to Keats’s letters. He is also very interested academically in Shakespeare and Milton. Dr Ellul has carried out research in the methodology of English Language teaching in Europe (with special reference to TEFL/TESOL). He has also co-ordinated and written out a Distance Learning course in TEFL for the Local University. Dr Ellul’s aim of research was to find out the most effective material and methodology to suit not only individual students but also small groups.</Message>

					<Message>Ms Christina Zarb graduated in B.Sc. in Mathematics and Computer Science and subsequently M.Sc. in Mathematics at the University of Malta. Prior to joining St.Martins, she has taught mathematics and computer science at ordinary and advanced level, and delivered courses in statistics and mathematics at the University of Malta and MCAST. Currently she is employed at St.Martins Institute of IT where she lectures a variety of mathematically-oriented units leading to a diploma/degree in computer information systems and economics and management. The fields involved include discrete mathematics, statistics, operations research and calculus applied to economics and management.</Message>

					Mr. Joseph Cachia is currently employed as a Team Leader in the Systems Department of Bank of Valletta plc. He is also the Technical Work Packet Leader responsible for the Euro conversion of the Bank's retail banking system. He has been developing software on a commercial basis for the Bank since 1994. This was preceded by five years of front-office teller and foreign banking experience. 
					He has been lecturing at diploma level with the Institute of Financial Services (Malta ) on a part-time basis for the last four years. He has also been lecturing at degree level with St.Martin's Institute of IT, for the past three years. His main lecturing subjects include Introductory Programming, Elements of ICT and Software Engineering. 
					Mr. Cachia holds a First Class Honours Degree in Computing and Information Systems with the University of London and is currently reading for an online Masters in Information System Management with the University of Liverpool. His technical education and experience in the software development arena is wide and varied, being also a Sun-certified Java Programmer.

					<Message>Mr Malcolm Bray graduated B.Com. (Hons) Economics (University of Malta) and M.Sc. Economics (University of York). He works as senior economist at the Central Bank of Malta and is a member on the ECB Working Group on Econometric Modelling. His main research interests focus on economic growth, fiscal policy, monetary policy, information economics and trade.</Message>

					<Message>Ms Patricia Gera is a chartered accountant, qualified in Oxford in 1991. From 1985 to 1995, in public practice with a firm called Shaw &amp; Company. Specialised in tax and training students studying to be accountants. Member of the firm's technical committee. From 1995 set up a company called Business Assist Ltd, owned by Michael O'Regan, founder director of Research Machines plc, a company providing IT to the education sector. Business Assist Ltd provided accounting and other services to small businesses. In addition I assisted Mike in all his business and charitable activities. He runs a charity called Hamilton Trust which helps under priviledged schools in Oxford, and he was on the government math's project committee.</Message>

					<Message>Mr Ronald Aquilina is a specialist in information systems design, testing and implementation. His process experience relates to Information Systems &amp; Database Development, Information Systems Infrastructure, Y2K, Economic Resource Planning Systems, BPR. He has also several years experience in Oracle™, dBase™, Foxpro™, Cobol, UNIX Operating Systems and Microsoft© Applications, Ronald obtained his Baccalaureate in Economics from the University of Malta in 1974 and his Master’s Degree in Business Administration (MBA) from the same University in 2001. He also received intensive training in Management Services related to Work Study, Motivation and Communication at the Work Study Correspondence College in the UK in 1978. Ronald is also a Full Member of the Institute for Management of Information Systems (UK) since 1986. He is currently an Examiner on Programming Projects within the Institute’s local branch. Apart from lecturing Foundations of Business &amp; Information Systems to undergraduates reading th					eir Baccalaureate in Business at the University of London Teaching Institution in Malta (St. Martin’s Institute of Information Technology), Ronald is also tutor on Economic Resource Planning at Ecole Superieur de Commerce of Grenoble University (Malta Campus), assisting MBA students in e-commerce dissertations. He is also Information Technology Manager at Marsovin Group – a post that he has occupied following gradual promotions since he joined the Group in 1987. At Marsovin, Ronald proved to be an important catalyst for the management of change in the context of technology assisted process re-engineering and the development of true teamwork in the sharing of knowledge. Prior to this employment, Ronald was Systems Manager at Dowty (Malta) Limited – a post that he occupied following gradual promotions since he joined the Company in 1974 as Sales Co-ordinator.</Message>

									   Alex Rizzo graduated with Honours in Electrical Engineering from the University of Malta in 1989, and as a Chartered Engineer with the UK Engineering Council in 1992. He has gone on to complete, with distinction, a Master of Business Administration from the University of Malta in 2001, and a Master of Philosophy in Management from the Maastricht School of Management in 2006. Alex is presently reading for a Doctorate in Business Administration with the Robert Gordon University of Scotland. His topic of research is the strategic behavior of small firms in Malta. Mr. Rizzo has presented some 20 publications in conferences and journals. He has taken up various senior management positions over the years, and has been responsible for the implementation of a number of national technology-based projects. Mr. Rizzo presently sits on the Board of Directors of a large local organization, and is an advisor to Malta Enterprise on small business start-up
